I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geological Science at the Cal State University - San Bernardino. My research focuses on evaluating temporal and spatial patterns of strain by integrating structural analysis with low-temperature thermochronology. I am particularly interested in understanding the time-scales, progression, and drivers of deformation and landscape evolution. Current areas of focus are the Basin and Range in southern Nevada and eastern California, offshore basins in southern and eastern China (e.g., Pearl River Mouth, East China Sea Shelf, and Bohai Bay basins), and the U.S. midcontinent in Kansas, Arkansas, and Missouri.
